I established WEJ Secretarial after taking voluntary redundancy from my employer of 27 years. My experience reflects my career as a senior personal assistant, and latterly as Office Manager. I work from home in West Yorkshire and have, throughout my career, worked in several locations throughout the country including London, York and Leeds. I have managed commercial capital projects, organised major conferences, festivals, VIP visits, and PR events. For the last 5 years I was Office Manager for The Association of Inland Navigation Authorities (AINA) with responsibility for designing and producing its quarterly newsletter, corporate literature and maintaining the company website (www.aina.org.uk).

In 1996, on behalf of British Waterways, I project managed the visit of HM The Queen to Leeds for the opening of the Royal Armouries Museum
In Ripon, North Yorkshire, I headed a project team to develop and build a boating marina
For 3 consecutive years I organised a corporate hospitality event in Nottingham, providing entertainment and refreshments over a 3 day period for over 300 customers and VIPs
